Adventure Aid Nepal is working in conjunction with The Juniper Trust, a charity completely run by volunteers where 100% of donations go towards the projects that are in need. The Juniper Trust was founded in 1994 and since then it has strived to work in a low-impact, sustainable way to support the poorest communities, particularly children, listening to community needs in the developing world and working in equal partnership. Juniper trust operates in many countries including India, Pakistan and Nepal. They have many years of experience and have developed relationships with local people of their respected areas to ensure that the correct project is selected and the money is going to the right places.
The target for 2018 is to raise money to rebuild an additional three schools and to build a new toilet block at Garjyang. The 2018 volunteers will visit both Garjyang and the three new schools to help with finishing touches and to give out the uniforms and equipment to the children. Fund Raising is well underway and the Juniper Trust has commitments for two of the schools, the Adventure Aid Nepal groups will raise the money for the third school and the uniforms for the children. There may be wish lists from the other schools we will visit as we get closer to the time to go.
Any fundraising is channelled through the Juniper Trust and we can guarantee that 100% of the money you raise will go to either the projects you will be supporting on your trip.
We will provide you with a link to a group Just Giving Page, or we can help you set up one of your own to help raise money for the schools and children you will visit.
